Umuahia North APC Stakeholders, Aspirants Endorse Mayor Lucky Igbokwe for House of Representatives Seat

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Umuahia North and aspirants contesting for the House of Representatives seat for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency have unanimously resolved to support an Ohuhu candidate for the position ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The resolution was reached during a strategic meeting of APC stakeholders and aspirants convened to address issues of equity, fairness, and political stability within the constituency. At the end of the meeting, a communiqué issued by the stakeholders revealed that the House of Representatives position should be ceded to the Ohuhu Clan to enable the clan complete the remaining four years of the existing eight-year tenure arrangement within the constituency.

According to the communiqué, the decision followed extensive consultations among APC party leaders, stakeholders, and all aspirants who attended the meeting.

The stakeholders further disclosed that all aspirants present at the gathering collectively agreed to support the emergence of Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, as the consensus choice for the House of Representatives position.

They noted that the endorsement was made in the spirit of unity, fairness, political inclusiveness, and the need to sustain harmony within the constituency.

The communiqué also urged APC faithful, supporters, and political stakeholders across Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency to remain united and committed towards ensuring the overall success of the party in the forthcoming elections.

The meeting reportedly ended on a peaceful and cordial note, with all parties reaffirming their commitment to the unity, peace, and continued progress of the constituency.
