The frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mayor Lucky Obinwa Igbokwe, has called on his supporters and party faithful to remain calm, peaceful, law-abiding, and positive following the outcome of the recently concluded party primaries.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, Mayor Igbokwe expressed gratitude to his supporters across the constituency for their overwhelming love, dedication, and steadfast support throughout the process. He urged them not to be discouraged by the events surrounding the primaries, assuring them that the situation remains under control.
Mayor Igbokwe reaffirmed his confidence in the leadership and internal democratic structures of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that he still believes strongly in the party and its commitment to justice, fairness, and due process.
“We remain loyal members of the APC and we believe the party will do the right thing and return our mandate. I urge all our supporters to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding as we continue to pursue every legitimate and democratic avenue available to us,” he stated.
He further advised supporters to avoid actions or statements capable of heating up the polity, emphasizing that the struggle remains one guided by peace, unity, and respect for democratic principles.
Mayor Lucky Obinwa Igbokwe also thanked party stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women, and supporters across the constituency who stood firmly with the movement during the primaries, assuring them that their sacrifices and commitment will not be in vain.
